Frequently Asked Questions

  • Asbestos refers to a group of naturally occurring minerals that were widely used in building materials for their durability and fire-resistant properties.

However, asbestos fibres can pose serious health risks when inhaled, potentially leading to conditions such as asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma.

It’s important to note that asbestos is only hazardous when it is disturbed, causing fibres to become airborne and inhalable.

For this reason, sample collection and testing should always be carried out by a qualified professional to ensure safety and accuracy.

  • The National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) is a globally recognised governing body for testing organisations. NATA accreditation ensures that we consistently meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in our testing services.

We are currently in the process of obtaining NATA accreditation for our mobile laboratory.
